Ziffer & Blatt gimė iš meilės laikrodžiams. Mūsų komandoje jie, o ypač vokiška laikrodininkystė, jau seniai buvo daugiau nei tik domėjimosi objektas. Vieną dieną kilo mintis šią aistrą paversti verslu ir sukurti vietą žmonėms, kurie laikrodyje ieško ne tik žinomo vardo, bet ir istorijos, dizaino, meistrystės bei charakterio.

Vokietiją pasirinkome neatsitiktinai. Šios šalies laikrodininkystė pasauliui davė išskirtinę precizinės mechanikos tradiciją, Glashütte meistrystės mokyklą, aukšto tikslumo chronometrus ir dizaino kultūrą, kurioje funkcija, konstrukcija ir estetika sudaro vieną visumą. Bauhaus principai iki šiol daro didžiulę įtaką tam, kaip suprantame modernų laikrodžio dizainą.

Mus žavi vokiškas inžinerinis tikslumas, funkcionalumas, santūrus dizainas ir dėmesys detalėms. Daugelis Vokietijos gamintojų kuria laikrodžius gerokai mažesnėmis apimtimis nei didieji Šveicarijos prekių ženklai, todėl jie išlaiko daugiau individualumo ir leidžia jų savininkui išsiskirti.

Ziffer & Blatt was born out of a passion for watches. For our team, watches – and German watchmaking in particular – have long been more than just an interest. One day, the idea emerged to turn this passion into a business and create a place for people who look beyond a well-known name when choosing a watch. People who appreciate a watch’s history, design, craftsmanship and character.

Our choice of Germany was no coincidence. German watchmaking has given the world a remarkable tradition of precision engineering, the renowned watchmaking heritage of Glashütte, high-precision chronometers and a design culture in which function, construction and aesthetics come together as one. The principles of Bauhaus continue to profoundly shape how we understand modern watch design.

We are drawn to German engineering precision, functionality, understated design and meticulous attention to detail. Many German watchmakers produce watches in far smaller quantities than the major Swiss brands, allowing them to preserve a stronger sense of individuality and offer something distinctive to those who wear them.
